On a night where one high seed had already fallen to a team it defeated twice during the regular season, the Choctaws pulled off the bigger upset of the night as Dyer County knocked off the top-seeded Obion County Central boys 69-67 in overtime to advance to Thursday night’s District 13-3A Championship Game for the second straight season.

Dyer County took a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and quickly built its advantage to seven points with two buckets from Jamin Gauldin and a pair of Devin Hayward free throws.
