The Lady Choctaws got a three-pointer and a bucket by Tykeria Kennedy as well as a pair of buckets from Alijah Robinson buckets. But, the Lady Cavaliers pulled further ahead with a 17-point frame to take a 32-22 lead at the half.

Though the Lady Cavaliers came out strong in the second half with an 18-point third quarter, the Lady Choctaws stayed on their heels. A pair of Ava Pearson buckets as well as a Roberts three-pointer helped the Dyer County girls to a 15-point frame as the orange and white girls trailed 50-37 heading into the final frame.

Dyer County was able to cut into the Crockett County lead during the fourth quarter thanks to seven points from Robinson and five by Honore. But, the Lady Cavaliers were able to hold off the Lady Choctaws to seal the win.

Kennedy and Robinson each led the way for the Lady Choctaws with 13 points while Honore added 11 in the loss.
