After struggling to score in the opening game of Tuesday’s doubleheader at home against visiting Jefferson College, the Dyersburg State baseball team’s bats came to life in Game 2, taking a 9-3 win over the visiting team.

The Eagles had big innings in the third and sixth, scoring three each in those frames. With two out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the third, the Eagles got a Grant Gilolli on base after being hit by a pitch to plate a run, breaking a 2-2 tie. Ashton Kehren added an RBI single to help the Eagles go up three after three innings.
