Lady Eagles drop two to John A. Logan

Following a long day to open a busy week which saw them play 18 innings on Monday, the Lady Eagles returned to the field on Tuesday and fell in both games to visiting John A. Logan College at Dyersburg State.

The Lady Eagles dropped the opening game of Tuesday’s doubleheader, falling 5-4 to John A. Logan.

Keaton Wheeler led the way for the Lady Eagles at the plate with a double and a single while Emme Bullington added a pair of singles in the loss.

Earlier in the day, the Lady Eagles fell in the opening game of the day, falling 4-1 to John A. Logan.

The Lady Eagles managed only three singles in the loss, coming from the bats of Jada Moore, Chloe Jones and Chanley Price. Carson McReynolds drove in the team’s only run of the opening game in the fifth inning.

Dyersburg State returns to the field on Thursday when the Lady Eagles host Pellissippi State in a doubleheader beginning at noon.
