Lake County Middle volleyball splits double dip with Halls

 


A busy night of volleyball ended with a split in West Tennessee Athletic Conference action as Lake County and Halls each won a match at Halls on Thursday night.


In the opening game, Halls took a hard-fought first set, 25-20 to take an early lead. The Lady Falcons fought back with a 25-16 win in the second set. In a back-and-forth third set, Lake County claimed the win with a 15-11 victory to take the game.

Halls answered with a strong performance in the second game. The Lady Tigers took a 25-15 win in the opening set then took the second against a rallying Lady Falcon team with by a 25-23 score.

Lake County returns to action on Thursday, August 28 when the Lady Falcons host Haywood in a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m.
