Despite a hot start on Tuesday in District 13AA action in the Terry Glover Gymnasium, the Lady Trojans had to fight off a pesky Lady Rebel team from Obion County Central before taking a four-set win.

Dyersburg jumped out to a brief double-digit lead in the first set before the Lady Rebels rallied back to keep the game close before the Lady Trojans took a 25-17 win in the opening frame.

Central battled back in the second set, riding the momentum from the close of the opening set for a 25-21 win in the second set to tie it at a frame a piece.

The Lady Rebels were able to keep it close through the next set before Dyersburg took the 25-23 win. The Lady Trojans then closed out the match with a 25-20 win in the fourth set to secure the victory.

Dyersburg returns to action on Thursday when the Lady Trojans host Milan. Meanwhile, Obion County Central welcomes Crockett County to Troy on Thursday in another District 13AA match for the Lady Rebels.
