The first tier of the postseason will run through J.C. Sawyers Stadium at Dyersburg High School as the Lady Trojans rallied from a one-goal deficit to defeat Crockett County 2-1 on Monday night at home.

The game remained tied at 0-0 through much of the first half before a corner kick from Crockett County led to a Lady Cavalier goal and a 1-0 lead for the visitors.

Dyersburg, though, had spent much of the first half on the Crockett County side of midfield and had several close calls. Those finally paid off late in the first half as Haddy Manneh put the ball in the goal in the 38th minute to tie the game at 1-1 at the half.

The Lady Trojans wasted little time in the second half getting on the board as Manneh scored on a rebound of a Meredith Zamzow shot to put her team on top 2-1 in the 47th minute.

From there, the Lady Trojans fended off Crockett County while nearly adding to their lead on the way to the win.

The win clinched the regular season District 13A Championship for the Lady Trojans as well as the right to host the postseason tournament in October.

Dyersburg returns to action on Thursday when the Lady Trojans host Peabody at 5:30 p.m.
