Northview runners qualify for state meet

 




The Northview Lady Choctaw Cross Country team punched its ticket for the TMSAA Cross Country State Championship Meet as the orange and white runners finished third overall in Martin on Thursday to secure their spot in next month's postseason meet.

Meanwhile, a trio of Northview Choctaw runners also punched their tickets to the meet as individuals. Northview runners Honon Boyd, Noah Belton and Eli Chatman will take part in the postseason race next month.

The TMSAA Cross Country State Championship Meet will be held in Clarksville on Oct. 4.

The Dyersburg Activity Center and the Dyersburg Diamond Youth Baseball league will be working together to host three tournaments this fall with Grand Slam Baseball.
