For the fifth time in six seasons, the Dyersburg Lady Trojans (16-5) will take part in the TSSAA Class AA Girls Soccer State Tournament as the black and gold will play in the opening round on Tuesday in Chattanooga.

Dyersburg will, for the first time since 2021, play someone other than Greeneville in the opening round of the tournament. On Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. (EST) at Boyd Buchanan in Chattanooga, the Lady Trojans will take on Region 5AA Champion Station Camp in the quarterfinals of the state tournament.

Station Camp (13-7-2) finished as the District 9AA Runner-up defeated Valor Prep in the region semifinals then avenged their district championship loss to Liberty Creek with a 1-0 win in the Region 5AA Championship. The Lady Bison then defeated Sycamore 9-0 in the Class AA Sectional match to advance to the state tournament for the fourth straight season.

Station Camp is the defending state runner-up in Class AA after losing last season’s championship in penalty kicks to Franklin County.

Dyersburg is looking for its first-ever state tournament win in girls soccer on Tuesday afternoon in Chattanooga.
