Playing for the third time in a little over a month, Dyersburg Middle’s girls easily handled the challenge from Northview as the Lady Trojans cruised into the 2025 Lady Trojan Christmas Tournament Championship Game with a 52-14 win over the Lady Choctaws at Dyersburg High School.

Dyersburg scored early and often as Micah McLin led the way for the Lady Trojans with a pair of three-pointers to help the Lady Trojans take a 14-3 lead after one quarter.

Northview was able to get its offense going more with a five-point frame by Montgomery. The Lady Trojans were able to stay well-ahead of Northview as TJ Jones led the way with six points. Dyersburg went into the break with a 28-12 advantage.

Dyersburg pulled away in the third frame as Khalia Reynolds scored five and Desleign Strayhorn added four to help the Lady Trojans take a 43-12 lead into the final frame.

From there, the Lady Trojans outscored Northview 9-2 to seal the win.

Reynolds, Strayhorn, and McLin each led Dyersburg with nine points in the win.

Montgomery paced Northview with five points in the loss.
